I bet you’re seeing “moon water” mentioned on this site and wondering what’s that all about. Sounds exotic, right? It kind of is. The moon has all these effects on water, and it has effects on us, our energy and our mood. So while it only temporarily affects us, water is believed to be able to hold it’s charge much like crystals.
We’ve been in the habit of cleansing and charging crystals for a long time. We love crystal grid work. So it seemed really common sense that we’d give moon water a try. Each phase of the moon has different energy. Each moon does too, so moon water can serve all different purposes.
What do you do with it? Well, some people use it for complex spell work. But honestly, you can just drink it, feed it to your pets, water your plants, spray yourself or your house with it to just give any and all a spiritual boost of lunar energy. We’re into all of the above.
Our moon water ritual combines a crystal grid charging plate, selenite, appropriate crystals and a glass vessel. But really all you need is a glass vessel and full moon. You put it out the night of the moon you want to capture, and bring it in before the sun rises. Glass vessels are preferred for several reasons, but we’ve heard of many people using plastic, so long as it’s clear. Glass, however, is more sanitary and a better conduit.
